The VIP is a veterans’ employment program offered in all WorkSource Centers and is specifically designed to help vets secure employment through our community partners. For example, if a veteran wants to return to school, our VIP can help. We maintain a working relationship with the Los Angeles Community College District, and University of California and California State University systems.

The Los Angeles County Department of Military & Veterans Affairs (MVA) counsels veterans, their dependents and survivors regarding federal and state benefits such as compensation, pension, education, medical treatment, home loans, burial benefits and license plate designation. Their accredited Veteran Service Officers also provide referrals for veterans regarding alcohol/drug abuse and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). MVA administers the historical Bob Hope Patriotic Hall, a 10-story building with meeting rooms, an auditorium, a gymnasium, and banquet facilities available to veteran service non-profit organizations.
The US Department of Labor offers a Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) program that proudly serves veterans & service members by providing resources and expertise to assist and prepare them for meaningful careers, maximize their employment opportunities, and protect their employment rights.
A mobile-enabled, one-stop transportation resource site for veterans, active duty personnel and military families. Funded by the Federal Transit Authority and LA Safe, the VetsGo511 is the first part of a comprehensive program offering better transportation choices and supportive services for veterans in the LA region.
