We've Moved!

The programs and services of the Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) are now part of the Community Investment Department. The Community Investment Department unifies youth, family, aging, workforce, and business services to create opportunities for all communities to thrive.

The Community Investment Department (CID)

On July 1, 2026, the Economic & Workforce Development Department became part of the Community Investment Department, along with the Community Investment for Families, Youth Development, and Aging Departments. By bringing programs together under one department, CID strengthens support for youth, families, older adults, job seekers, workers, and businesses, helping create more opportunities for communities across Los Angeles.
